Overview

Nile Valley University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is located in Khartoum, Sudan. Established in 2000, the faculty began its medical program in 2005. It offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS), and diploma programs in health sciences. It is accredited by the Sudanese Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and recognized by the Sudan Medical Council (SMC) and the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS).

– BPharm: Approximately USD 2,000-4,000 per year (for local students); USD 3,000-5,000 per year (for international students).
– BMLS: Approximately USD 1,500-3,000 per year (for local students); USD 2,500-4,000 per year (for international students).

Application Requirements

Prospective students must meet the following requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent with strong performance in science subjects (biology, chemistry, physics).
– Proficiency in English (language test scores may be required for non-native speakers).
– Submission of academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement.
– Entrance examination or interview (depending on the program).
