Overview
Alfashir University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is located in Al-Fashir, North Darfur, Sudan. Established in 1990, the faculty began its medical program in 1995. It offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS), Master’s programs in health sciences (e.g., Master in Public Health, Master in Medical Sciences), and PhD programs in health sciences. It is accredited by the Sudanese Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and recognized by the Sudan Medical Council (SMC) and the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS).
