Overview
University of Burao Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is located in Burao, Somaliland. Established in 2004, the faculty offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program, Nursing (Bachelor’s program), Public Health (Bachelor’s program), Pharmacy (Bachelor’s program), and postgraduate programs in medical specialties. It is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Somaliland and recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS).
