Overview

Somali National University Faculty of Medicine and Health Science is located in Mogadishu, Somalia. Originally established in 1954, the faculty was re-established in 2014. It offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program, Nursing (Bachelor’s program), Public Health (Bachelor’s program), Pharmacy (Bachelor’s program), and postgraduate programs in medical specialties. It is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Education of Somalia and recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS).
